The Central Valley Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America is kicking off 2013 with a breakfast event Jan. 24 called Globalization of Real Estate.

The group will explore investment opportunities in Fresno and answer questions as to why foreign investors should keep their eye on the Valley.

AREAA’s national president Jim Park will be the keynote speaker.

The Economic Development Corporation serving Fresno County is already sending email blasts out about its annual Fresno County Real Estate Forecast on April 11.

The forecast, now in its 10th year, brings local real estate experts together to share their knowledge of where the commercial, multifamily and residential markets stand and where they are headed this year.

The forecast will be held 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Radisson Conference Center in downtown Fresno. The EDC is still finalizing ticket prices. Registration will begin later this month. For more information, call the EDC at (559) 476-2505.
